Welcome to this edition of PT Aware.
To us animal lovers and wildlife photographers, the term ‘shoot’ only means one thing – Shooting with your camera to get the best images of your subject.
It is surprising that hunting is permitted in civilized societies on species that have barely recovered from the brink of extinction. Today, it is not as if we are doing it for food or clothing or not even in self-defense. To us, it is an unexplainable emotion that makes a human being pick up a gun and go looking for an animal to shoot at.
We pray to all our readers to appeal to your local and federal authorities to irradicate the sanctioned hunting of animals.
The best way to admire an animal is in its natural habitat, not in the trophy cabinet. We invite everyone to join us on any PawsTrails wildlife and photographic expeditions to discover the best ways of enjoying our fellow beings.
This was one of the aims that led us to set up our safari camp in the Massai Mara.
Our nature is already in a precarious state with the centuries of exploitation that we have met out to mother earth. We need to do everything in our power to conserve and protect the remaining wildlife and ecosystems.
Each and every organism has a role to play in maintaining the fine balance of our ecosystems. Let us work together to preserve our world for a better tomorrow.
