In our cover story, we feature one of our own, Hermis Haridas, who is fresh from an award-winning spree for his much-acclaimed Hoopoe image. His early travels to Massai mara played a pivotal role in dedicating himself to wildlife photography and conservation. Hermis has traveled the world in search of stunning images and talks about his experiences in promoting conservation through photography.

In our conservation article, Gustavo Costa talks about the Brazilian Pantanal, the expansive wetland that is a treasure trove for photographers and travelers alike. The Pantanal has huge ecological significance in that it regulates the hydrology of the entire region.

In our Cub’s Corner Govind Manu from Dubai, talks about his passion for photography, and wildlife and shares his inspiring images.

Anosh Koppikar from India talks about his journey to Masai mara and details his photographic encounters with the big cats, in our Through the Lens section.

Cynthia Bandurek, our beloved colleague, and editor is chronicled in the wild arts section. Cynthia talks about her experiments and experiences with different mediums like Oil, watercolours, and more and how they have evolved throughout her journey as a wildlife artist and photographer.
