Founders Note
Hermis Haridas & Nisha Purushothaman
Welcome to this edition of PT explorers. For the fourth year in a row, we are sticking with our custom of dedicating the next edition of PT Explorers after the International Women’s day as a Women’s edition. Every article in this edition has been contributed by an amazing woman, who has shrugged off the comforts and dared to dive into the lesser-explored world. While doing so, these ladies have contributed immensely to the conservation of the planet and aided all life on earth.
Thank you ladies for your contribution to the wellbeing of mother earth. Paws Trails salutes your courage and determination.
We thank the pioneers like Dame Jane Goodall, who with her pioneering work on Chimps, not only threw open the gates to a lot of women to enter into life sciences but even inspired men to take up careers in conservation and natural research.
Today it is a well-known fact that the world of natural history, biology, conservation, wildlife & conservation photography, and wildlife arts are indeed richer from the contribution from the fairer sex.
At Paws Trails, we are committed to giving good coverage to the work done by women photographers and artists. Please reach out to us through our website or any of our social media handles if you are/know of a woman who is doing fantastic work in conservation, photography, or wild arts and wish to be published. We will be thrilled to work with you.
To the global Paws Trails community
Always remember – A world that is better for a woman is indeed a better world.
Please support organisations that support equal opportunities and equal pay for women..
Let us create a better world…
