Vipin was born and brought up in the city of Alwar near Sariska Tiger Reserve, Rajastan. He likes to describe himself as an engineer by ‘fault’ but a born wildlife lover by ‘default’. Vipin started out his photography journey by documenting the wildlife in his backyard lawn, learning and honing his trade through books and magazines in the pre-internet era.
He continues his passion with frequent trips for photographic assignments.
