Vedanti Vibhav Chitrao

Vedanti Vibhav chitrao is a nine year old fourth grade student from Maharashtra, India. She is fond of nature and loves travelling to natural habitats and landscapes.

Vedanti started taking photographs about two years ago. She uses an old SLR camera Canon 60 With Canon 70-200 lens or sigma 18-200 lens.

She has visited jungle areas in central India like Tadoba, Pench, Kahna, and Ranthambore, Big cats are Vedanti’s favorite animals, and she has visited the Jhala Leopard Reserve near Jaipur several times.

Recently Vedanti had an opportunity to travel along with her father to Kenya to see the great wildebeest migration during an eight day safari, visiting Amboseli, Lake Navasha, Lake Nakaru and Masai Mara.

She enjoyed photographing elephants, giraffe, and patterns of zebras, loved the flight of the fish eagle. She very much enjoyed the baby behaviours of zebra, monkeys, elephants, and lions.

Vedanti loves photography and being part of photography discussions and interactions, lectures on photography. She always grabs the opportunity to interact with seniors, uncles, aunties and know more about animals behaviours.

Vedanti is not sure what she would become in future but presently she is clear she wants to enjoy nature and animals, and don’t miss a single opportunity to travel to experience animals in the wild.
