Roel De Plecker joined the team helping in the fieldwork on Black[1]headed Bushmasters. As a reptile curator he has more than 15 years’ experience on breeding and keeping this species. This Belgian born nature photographer spends his free time exploring the mountains and rainforests of central and southern Costa Rica, involving local communities, collecting data and photographs of Black-headed Bushmaster and it’s habitat.
Marcello Carvajal is a Costa Rican herpetologist that works studying the ecology of pit vipers and crocodilians. Currently involved in forest management and restoration programs in and around the Osa Peninsula.
